    PMR and bursitis - Autoimmune diseases - Inspire This too is my most painful area. I also have bursitis in my left shoulder but that is not as severe. I am undergoing PT to try and help with the issue as well. My left upper thigh is completely numb and if I am on my feet too long it does begin to burn as well. I have been recently put on Plaquenil and am also on Gabapentin and Nabumetone.
